Americas account for 42.6% of the global software market's value. DataMonitor forecasts that in 2013, the global software market will have a value of US$ 457 billion, an increase of 50.5% since 2008. ;-) According to market researcher DataMonitor, the size of the worldwide software industry in 2008 was US$ 303.8 billion, an increase of 6.5% compared to 2007.

However, the Software Giants today are Entrepreneurs who find GREAT Business Models for their Software Expertises!! BTW, the most INNOVATIVE Software Technologies had always been from the Open-Source Community! It is still true today!! >=) All of the Software Giants today are very much part of Open-Source Community in the past!!

Softwares in the past are FREE and are really made to sell Hardwares (Computer Chips or I.C. == Indian and Chinese) ONLY!!

However, the Software Giants today are Entrepreneurs who find GREAT Business Models for their Software Expertises!!
