The wing on USA 17 is the largest wing ever constructed even in the aviation industry. Its a remarkable piece of technology that BMW should be extremely proud of being a part of. @naboba

Yes the hulls do "Fly" a sailboat is lifted by its sail and so always carries itself at a heel. The windward two hulls on USA 17 are always out of the water- drastically decreasing the hydrodynamic drag and making the boat very fast. LOL – the comments from non sailors are quite hilarious.
